Agalianos Village

Villa Irena is located in Agalianos village, a quiet traditional village on the hillside of mount “Asiderotas” overlooking the south Cretan sea and the wonderful natural environment.

A very small and very quiet village with friendly people very close to the well-known beaches of southern Crete LIGRES BEACH 4KM, TRIOPETRA BEACH 6KM, PREVELI PALM BEACH 10KM, AGIOS PAVLOS 12KM, AGIA FOTIA 8KM and other lesser known KATSOUNI BEACH, PODARE BEACH, GIALOPOTAMA BEACH, GLIMA BEACH in our area there are still other deserted beaches suitable for nudism or walking. At most beaches there are taverns and restaurants. The village is ideal for those seeking tranquility in the nature of Cretan land combining mountain and sea. There are many places to walk both on the mountain and on the beaches. In the village there are no shops or restaurants but it is just 1km away from the neighboring village KERAME with Super Market Taverns and traditional cafes. In the village Agalianos there is the private folk museum of the Sifogiorgaki family which our guests can expedite upon request. In Agalianos Village there is a small outdoor playground where children play under the responsibility of their parents.
Sometimes in restaurants on nearby beaches you can enjoy live Greek music as well as Cretan music at various festivals that take place in the neighboring villages especially in the month of August.
